I’m pleased to present you with the July-August 2025 issue of the Journal of Global Issues & Solutions.

This issue begins with our Page One Feature Paper: ”On the Road to Armageddon:

How Our Collective Subconscious Was Distracted As Our Rulers Led Us Down the Path to War”. This Archived Paper asks: ‘Did Self-Consciousness and Religious Convictions and Perhaps Even Simple Intellectual Laziness Lead us to Abandon our “Survival Needs” to Intermediaries?’, and was selected for its special significance as this issue goes to publication. Authored by long-time contributor to this Journal, Mr. Michael Mifsud, a noted Writer, Art Collector and Critic, based in Malaga, Spain, this paper is particularly timely as the path to World War III threatens in both Eastern Europe as well as in the Middle East. Both theaters involve beligerants which are nuclear powers (Russia and Israel, with China, North Korea the United States and others sitting on the sidelines).

Next, in the topic area of Technology: Governance: we present the paper titled “The Governance of Space Projects: Towards New Forms of Economic Development for Humanity by Mr. Alberto Cossu, MBA, International Management Consultant & Geopolitical Analyst, headquartered in Sassari, Italy.

This issue continues with a paper in the topic area of Focus on Africa: De-Colonization: titled “Why Western Countries are Afraid of Fully-Independent African Countries by Dr. Godwin Azinwi Suh who is based in Nottingham City, England, UK and holds a PhD in Armed Conflicts and Fear of Crime, England, UK, a MPhil in Policing, Security and Community Safety, England, UK, a MA in Security, Intelligence and Diplomacy, England, UK, a MA in International Relations, England, UK and a BA ( Hons) in Criminology and Criminal Justice, England, UK.

The July-August 2025 issue concludes with
a Philosophical Commentary titled “The Darkness and the Light III: The Intersection Between Science and Philosophy” by Mr. Iain Kirkaldy-Willis, Naturalistic Philosopher, from Spain's Canary Islands.

I’m looking forward to your receiving your comments, observations and remarks regarding this issue’s presentations,

With best wishes,
