As this Journal begins its 25th consecutive year of publication, I offer you my very best wishes for a healthy, creative and innovative New Year ahead. With that in mind, I’m pleased to present you with the January-February 2025 issue of the Journal of Global Issues & Solutions.

This issue begins with our Page One Feature Paper in the subject area of
Postglobalization: "The New Era of Geopolitical Maneuvering: The Weaponization of Finance" by Mr. Alberto Cossu, MBA, International Management Consultant & Geopolitical Analyst, headquartered in Sassari, Italy.

 

This issue continues with an Opinion Paper by Mr. Michael Mifsud, Author, Art Collector & Critic, of Malaga, Spain titled “The Collective Subconscious: The Soft Underbelly of Our Species”. The theme of this paper asks “Did Self Consciousness and Religious Convictions leave ‘Survival Needs’ to Intermediaries?


Next, in the topic area of Human Society, Professor S.A. Paipetis of the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics at the University of Patras in Patras, Greece and Ms. O. Georgiadou of the Department for Civil Protection of Greece
of the City of Athens, Greece, present their paper titled “The Role of Opposites in Nature and in Human Society”.

 

The January-February 2025 issue concludes with a Philosophical Commentary titled “The Darkness and the Light: The True Nature of the Difference Between Artifical and Human Intelligenceby Mr. Iain Kirkaldy-Willis, Naturalistic Philosopher, from Spain's Canary Islands.
