I’m pleased to present you with the May-June 2019 issue of the Journal of Global Issues & Solutions.

This issue begins with our Page One Feature Paper,
Rehabilitation of the Decentralization in the Centralizing Process of Global Communities” by Professor Hiroshige Tanaka of the Faculty of Economics at Chuo University in Tokyo, Japan. This scholarly paper will be of significant interest to professional and academic economists and laypersons alike, as it addresses global economic changes and challenges.

While everyone recognizes that climate change obviously exists, there are differing schools of thought regarding the reasons behind this phenomenon. This Journal is a medium created for intellectual debate, and differing points of view and varying opinions are open for discussion here. The previous issue of this Journal published a paper on one frame of thought on this topic, and this issue features a differing viewpoint:
“On Climate Change." is presented by Dr. Manuel Alfonseca of the Escuela Politécnica Superior at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Francisco Tomás y Valiente, located in Madrid, Spain.

In our following paper,
Ourania Georgiadou of the Department for Civil Protection of Greece, located in Athens, Greece and S.A. Paipetis, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics at the University of Patras in Patras, Greece present their paper in the subject area of  Culture: Communication, titled “Meditation Practice by Using Metric Verse in Epic Poetry.”

The May-June 2019 issue concludes with issue concludes with Part XVI of a special presentation in the topic area of  Education: Life & Consciousness, by Naturalistic Philosopher Mr. Iain Kirkaldy-Willis of Spain’s Canary Islands: “The Nature of Thought.”
