"A Dictionary of Human Form", by Ted Seth Jacobs

EXCERPTED TEXT/OVERVIEW: A world-recognized expert on the human form, two of Mr. Jacobs’ books have already been published, and have sold nearly fifty-thousand copies to date. One title sold out within a few years, and the other is in a second printing, with a version in Japanese. Mr. Jacobs is now working on a new title, "A Dictionary of Human Form", which will be an exhaustive analysis of the structure of the body. Mr. Jacobs explains that "if you know anatomy as well as a doctor, but don’t know structure, you will not be able to draw the body convincingly. If you know no anatomy at all, but thoroughly understand structure, you will be able to learn to draw like Michelangelo". (. . . Complete article available in the Journal Archives)
